Wiki Rules
- IMPORTANT Please, spell check your work before submitting it...
- Be sure to click SAVE or CANCEL before leaving a page edit - the wiki seems to have a few issues at times, causing people to keep locks a long time. Just make sure you either cancel or save, and we can live with the shortcomings of the wiki.
- Make use of the pipe character when doing page links, the left side is the page name, the right side is the displayed text.
- Cross-linking and back-linking are a life saver.
- When dealing with the Guilds page, "Only actual guilds are listed here. One member guilds are not actual guilds and should not be listed here. New guilds added need to be listed alphabetically." (Quoted from the Guilds page)
- When adding pages, make sure you have the correct information. There are bound to be mistakes, but some things, like items should be copied from their description in game so no blatantly incorrect information exists on the wiki.
- When adding new pages, make sure you follow the templates for other related pages. Item pages should have a SMALL item graphic, in PNG format, just like all the other pages. NOT whatever you feel like adding.
- When editing your Guild, make sure you use a SMALL image for the Fort Flag, thou you may use a larger image for the guild hall. It's 2 images per guild. Remember to use the template!
- Don't use underscores in page names - it makes them look bad.
- If you are adding a new page, make sure to check the Template List.
- If you need to put FSOS and HOFS specific info on the same page, use dark blue for the FSOS and dark orange for the HOFS. (eg: Location of Wizard is different for both FSOS and HOFS).
- If a page needs content, add the Needs_Content tag to it, and add the page to Pages that Need Content, detailing what else needs to be added. Check that page frequently to see if there is info required that you can fill in.
- Do not add Orb quests. These quests are to be figured out by guilds.
